What We Think

Cerulean Sins has some elements that could be considered proto-woke by today’s standards, empowered female lead, some subverted gender roles, but the focus remains on genre tropes over agenda. It’s nowhere near the levels of self-serious, box-ticking wokeness found in more recent media.
