What We Think

In our view, 'The Golden Compass' checks nearly every box on the woke checklist: subverting tradition, mocking religious faith, and favoring a rebellion-oriented heroine. While it's a compelling adventure, its portrayal of religion and authority is about as subtle as a sledgehammer.
