What We Think

The Hunger Games trilogy may not be the wokest book series out there, but with its emphasis on strong female leads, skeptical take on tradition, and lack of nuanced ideological pushback, it certainly checks a few boxes for a modern, socially-aware agenda. Not a full-blown woke-fest, but it’s definitely not a bastion of classic values, either.
