What We Think

While 'Good, the Bad and the Undead' modernizes genre conventions with a capable female lead and diverse cast, it avoids the more egregious pitfalls of heavy-handed 'wokeness.' Narrative remains character-focused, and the book doesn't aggressively push ideology over story. Non-woke readers may roll their eyes at moments, but it's hardly a woke parade.
