What We Think

Shirley Jackson’s "The Lottery" is about as non-woke as it gets. It’s a sharp critique of mindless tradition, but avoids modern ideological themes, forced representation, or revisionist cultural messaging. Old-school horror at its finest, no identity checkboxes in sight.
