Forced representation is hard to ignore, as racial and ideological themes often take center stage rather than compelling character development or narrative depth. Diverse characters frequently appear not as layered individuals, but as ideologically perfect stand-ins.

Traditional themes like patriotism, masculinity, and moral certainty are downplayed or problematized. The film seems to intentionally question classic American values and heroes, favoring an updated outlook that subverts rather than builds on cultural traditions associated with the Captain America mantle.

Alternative viewpoints, especially more traditional or patriotic takes, are either sidelined or depicted as problematic. Characters rarely debate, and dissent is usually caricatured as ignorant or regressive. There’s little sense of ideological diversity or authentic pluralism within the story world.
