Cold Prey II sticks to classic slasher storytelling, focusing on suspense, survival, and character-driven tension. Characters are developed through action and choices, not shoehorned ideological identity traits. Casting and story decisions seem to prioritize fit for the genre rather than checking diversity boxes, making any 'woke' elements basically non-existent.

The film doesn’t make a spectacle of undermining family, religious, or traditional values, nor does it push any overt subversion of gender roles. It’s a straightforward survival horror, not an ideological playground. If you’re worried about a stealthy agenda, it’s just not here.
