What We Think
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes largely avoids the usual pitfalls of modern Hollywood wokeness. The story sticks to core themes of survival and leadership, with no forced representation, identity-focused narrative, or villainization of tradition. Refreshingly non-woke by today’s standards.
