Fallen Angels is far more interested in alienation and urban ennui than any modern ideological checklist. Characters are written for narrative effect, and diversity casting or overt focus on identity politics is completely absent. The focus remains on story, mood, and flawed personalities instead of surface traits, which is a refreshing approach compared to recent trends.

Traditional family or religious institutions barely appear, but are not actively attacked or mocked. The setting is more morally ambiguous and nihilistic than overtly subversive. Norms around masculinity and femininity are explored with nuance, rather than being lampooned or pathologized. Any undermining of tradition feels organic, not agenda-driven.

There is no real sense of ideological monoculture in this film. The characters are messy, flawed, and don't preach any overt worldview. Diversity of experience and temperament, a hallmark of human storytelling, is preserved without venturing into caricature. Competing worldviews are not villainized, mostly because they just aren't the focus at all.
