What We Think

Gods of Egypt is about as non-woke as Hollywood gets in recent years. Its biggest sin, ironically, is being too traditional for modern critics, not injecting enough modern identity themes or forced diversity. If only other filmmakers would take a page from this playbook (minus the CGI overload, perhaps).
