Invasion U.S.A. is as traditional as it gets: a straightforward action film centered on an unambiguously heroic male lead, with little focus on ticking off identity boxes. The narrative is driven by plot and action, not ideological side quests. If anything, it’s almost allergic to modern-day 'representation', which many right-minded viewers would call a breath of fresh, explosion-filled air.

This film wears its flag-waving patriotism on its sleeve. Family, community, and traditional American values are championed throughout, while masculinity is glorified in the most obvious way possible. There’s no undermining of cultural foundations, if anything, the film feels like a love letter to them, with all the subtlety of a rocket launcher.

Alternative worldviews are mostly sidelined, but instead of propping up contemporary ideologies, the film doubles down on old-school American heroism.
