What We Think

While unmistakably slanted toward a specific brand of eco-activism, ‘Kiss the Ground’ is less woke than most narrative films, largely avoiding the cliches of forced representation or identity politics. Its narrow ideological range bumps up the score, but the lack of culture-war posturing keeps things reasonable.
