In our view, the film leans heavily into identity-driven storytelling, with the protagonist’s journey foregrounding themes of self-acceptance and family dynamics tied closely to her unique traits. Forced representation is evident, and much of the tension relies on the teen's differences, less on universal coming-of-age obstacles than on ideology-friendly messages.

Traditional family dynamics are reframed, with classic authority figures often sidelined in favor of adolescent autonomy. Masculine traits are largely absent or played for laughs, and the plot tends to recast long-standing myths with a modern, subversive twist, emphasizing empowerment over tradition.

Alternative worldviews barely get a word in. The few traditional characters are either villains or comic relief, and the narrative treats the protagonist’s identity as the natural moral center. Sincere challenges to the film’s dominant ideology are pretty much nonexistent, pushing a clear and uniform perspective.
