What We Think

“Sex and the City 2” delivers plenty of sass and glam, leaning into female empowerment and progressive attitudes, but stops short of the hardline woke tendencies seen in newer Hollywood fare. It’s more lifestyle fantasy than lecture, dated in its politics by modern standards, and only moderately woke.
