What We Think

'Show Me Love' was ahead of its time in pushing identity themes, particularly around sexuality. While it avoids some of the excesses of current-era 'woke' storytelling by maintaining character conflict, its approach to tradition and alternative viewpoints lands it mid-high on the woke scale.
