What We Think

"The Alamo" (2004) keeps things historically grounded and mostly avoids the major pitfalls of modern Hollywood wokeness. While it doesn’t break ground for traditionalism, it also resists rewriting the past to suit current ideological fashions. It’s about as non-woke as a recent (relatively speaking) studio historical drama gets.
