What We Think

The Doom Generation is less woke by 2020s standards, but it’s a 1990s exercise in sarcastic nihilism and anti-establishment attitude. It gleefully mocks traditional values and any whiff of mainstream morality. While not “woke” in the modern sense, it’s definitely anti-traditional and subversive.
