What We Think
The Thing (2011) is refreshingly non-woke by modern standards. While it does add a competent female lead, it mostly sticks to tried-and-true horror conventions, focusing on suspense and paranoia rather than contemporary identity politics. Purists might quibble, but it's far from a woke overhaul.
