What We Think

"Aufschneider" is about as non-woke as it gets by today’s standards. The show cares more about satire and oddball character quirks than checking diversity or ideology boxes. Ironically, this makes it feel refreshingly honest compared to much of today's output.

If you’re looking for an old-school character-driven dark comedy, this is more your speed.

The show pokes fun at Austrian institutions and attitudes but does not actively undermine family, religion, or traditional morality.
