Traditional values, family, faith, male leadership, receive a pretty rough ride here. Parental figures are either subversive or absent, and traditional gender dynamics are mostly lampooned. There’s a clear preference for reinterpreting old morality to fit current social trends, leaving little space for the classics without a ‘modern twist.’

It could be argued that dissenting opinions basically don’t exist: any traditional or skeptical characters serve as shallow antagonists. Worldviews outside the progressive consensus are portrayed as backward or dangerous, with little room for real debate or nuance. It’s an echo chamber with neon lights.
