"Enigma" seems determined to prioritize identity over character depth, with several leads introduced primarily for their demographic traits instead of compelling personalities or logical narrative placement. Plotlines bend uncomfortably to accommodate representation quotas, often at the expense of believable conflict or earned character growth. There’s very little subtlety here.

The show is consistently dismissive of traditional values, treating family roles as archaic and painting masculinity as problematic. Religious characters are depicted with clear hostility, often reduced to outmoded caricatures. The underlying message appears to revolve around the rejection of established norms in favor of modern ideological trends.

Dissenting voices might as well be on the endangered species list. "Enigma" only really presents a single worldview, with alternative perspectives either ignored or assigned to over-the-top antagonists. The result is a narrative echo chamber where diversity of thought is notably absent.
