"Last Man Standing" consistently emphasizes storylines built around family and workplace dynamics, rather than pushing identity politics up front. Characters are written with actual flaws and quirks, rooted in believable, non-forced backgrounds. The show mostly avoids casting just for representation’s sake and lets personalities, not identity checklists, drive the narrative.
