What We Think
Murder in a Small Town doesn’t completely bury its genre roots, but it’s very clear that modern identity politics and progressive themes take priority. Narrative sometimes bends to serve the “message,” and traditional culture rarely gets a fair shake. Not quite the wokest thing on TV, but it’s certainly not shy about where its allegiances lie.
