The show goes out of its way to showcase diverse characters with very obvious emphasis on their identity over their depth or role. Many lead roles seem assigned more for box-checking than for organic fit with the story, and several characters are depicted as virtually flawless regardless of context. This undermines character growth and credibility in the narrative.

Traditional institutions like family, faith, and masculinity are either mocked or used as convenient punching bags. The show rewrites historical and cultural references with present-day values, often presenting older ways of life as something to be escaped or dismissed.

Alternative viewpoints are either left out or painted as backward through exaggerated caricatures. There’s an obvious absence of characters who sincerely represent more traditional values, and any dissenting views are treated with derision rather than thoughtful debate.
