What We Think
"Queer As Folk" is a trailblazer in identity-driven storytelling, with its progressive stance front-and-center. It’s unapologetically woke by early 2000s standards: identity over narrative, revisionist takes on traditional values, and little room for dissenting voices. Call it groundbreaking or call it an ideological billboard, but subtle it is not.
