In our view, 'The Power' places ideological messaging front and center, often sidelining narrative cohesion and authentic character arcs. Many characters are defined by gender identity over deeper development, and the premise itself seems crafted primarily to invert traditional gender norms rather than tell a balanced story. This makes the narrative feel secondary to its social commentary.

The show clearly upends traditional views of gender, family, and even religious authority, often portraying them as outdated or repressive. Traditional masculinity and institutions are regularly depicted as dangerous or in need of correction, while the rise of empowered women is shown as a kind of moral awakening. This heavy-handed approach feels squarely aimed at reengineering cultural values.

Dissenting perspectives are almost exclusively villainized or caricatured; the show offers little space for a sincere exploration of alternative views. The social order before 'the power' is painted as problematic, with no genuine debate or complexity around these issues. Moral and ideological uniformity dominates, leaving little room for pluralism.
