"Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman" largely sticks to classic Batman storytelling. The introduction of Batwoman does not appear to be forced or based on identity politics, but rather serves the mystery plot. Character motivations and skills fit within the established Gotham universe, happily predating the overzealous box-checking that became common later.

The film doesn’t undermine core cultural touchstones. Masculinity and heroism are present and respected. Batwoman’s competence doesn’t translate into denigrating Batman or his supporting cast, and the film avoids preachy deconstruction of family, tradition, or Gotham’s moral struggles.

Multiple viewpoints and conflicted motivations are present, especially around justice and vigilantism. There’s no overt agenda or villainization of traditional perspectives. The film lets characters disagree and clash in genuinely interesting ways.
