The show seems to prioritize identity-first casting and messaging over organic storytelling. Character flaws and growth arcs are minimized, making their victories feel unearned and diminishing narrative tension.

Traditional masculinity and military camaraderie, once central to Predator, are pushed aside. The show subverts gender roles, portraying established masculine traits as outdated or harmful, while newly introduced characters are shown as morally infallible. Cultural touchstones are rewritten to fit current ideological narratives, leaving little room for old-school heroics.

There is little to no genuine debate or pluralism in worldview. Classic approaches and dissenting characters are quickly sidelined, mocked, or assigned villainous motivations. All protagonists appear to hold identical modern perspectives, essentially erasing meaningful conflict or alternative approaches.
