What We Think

Nymphomaniac: Vol. I isn’t woke in the modern sense, it’s more of an art-house provocation than an identity politics parade. It does challenge traditional cultural norms, though, so it lands with a mild-to-moderate woke reading, but isn’t at the level of the typical Hollywood message movie.
