Traditional roles like family and masculinity are consistently painted as problematic or sources of comedy, while alternative lifestyles are lauded. Religion and cultural traditions are generally referenced with a wink and a nudge, rarely with respect or sincerity, leaving cultural heritage feeling tossed aside.

Virtually every dissenting or traditional viewpoint is represented only through cardboard cutout antagonists or is outright dismissed. There’s little meaningful debate or internal character conflict; instead, the presumed modern worldview rules unchallenged, making things a bit echo-chambery.
