Woke media prioritizes ideology over narrative
“Woke” refers to a radical progressive movement centered on identity politics and virtue signalling. You'll know you're consuming woke media when you find a character that only exists to check a diversity box or plot that only exists as a vessel to lecture the audience rather than to entertain or inform.

Narrative Integrity Compromised
Is narrative sacrificed for ideology? Are character traits (race, gender, sexuality) emphasized over personality or purpose?
Cultural Foundations Undermined
Are societal cornerstones like family, masculinity, religion, or morality portrayed as backwards or irrelevant?
Ideological Monoculture
Are alternative worldviews (particularly those espousing traditional cultural values) absent, mocked, or villainized?
Together these criteria give us an overall woke score and a final "Woke" or "Not Woke" classification.
